Ancient Scotland
Bring your imagination
and an open mind
and touch the past
I have spent a great deal of time around Scotland's standing stones, passage chambers and sacred springs and no matter who you are,
from the novice,
to the sceptic,
from the archaeologist,
to the metaphysicist,
they all have one thing in common.
You will feel something.
From the Standing Stones to Highland Fairy Folklore
I'll take you on a journey where we will explore astronomical alignments, strange initiation ceremonies, natural phenomena such as Tulleric Currents, resonance in the stones, sensory deprivation chambers and geodetic geometry.
From here we move forward in time to the early pagans which eventually became the Druidic culture.
We discover the arrival of the first Christian missionaries who created the affectionately titled Celtic Church.
Then Queen Margaret brought widespread Roman Catholicism to Scotland in the eleventh century.
Still, as the centuries rolled by, a strange belief still clung on in the Highlands of Scotland.
We'll go on a journey from the Tuatha De Danann to the Sidhe Mhath.
From the Shining Ones to the Fairies.
This is the story . . . . of us.
